Wee Cott may be Wee by name but is not wee by nature, nestled in the sand dunes overlooking St Ives Bay she sleeps 5 people in 3 bedrooms.


A fantastic base to explore Cornwall.

Details

The owners have re-decorated throughout for 2025 and provide everything a home from home could possibly want.

There is a comfortable open plan sitting room with a dining area and kitchen. Outside is an eating area behind the chalet and a rotary dryer for all those wet swimming costumes after you’ve been for a dip in the beautiful deep blue sea!
Fully enclosed dog/child friendly decking.

Linen is now provided. Please bring your own beach towels.

 

 

  • Lounge/ Diner– The open plan sitting room is timber clad in a traditional seaside style. It has 2 faux leather sofas & contemporary electric log burner style fire. Flat screen Smart TV with Freeview and DVD player, a pedestal fan and a CD/Radio.
  • Kitchen – The kitchen which has been refitted in 2019 is equipped with a halogen hob, separate oven, grill, fridge, Freezer, microwave, Airfryer, George Foreman grill, slow cooker, and washing machine. Lots of cupboard space, crockery, utensils etc. A small dining table separates it from the sitting room area, with four chairs and folding stool.
  • Bedroom 1 – 1 double bed with wardrobe.
  • Bedroom 2 – 1 single bed with chest of drawers.
  • Bedroom 3 – Bunk bed with wardrobe.
  • Bathroom – The bathroom has instant electric shower, WC and basin and new vinyl floor.

 Well behaved pets are welcome. There are beach restrictions in operation across Cornwall in the summer months

Morning both, we've loved every minute, don't want to go home. Your cottage is fabulous, very comfortable and very well equipped, the only thing missing for me is a full length mirror.... its literally perfect for our needs with the enclosed balcony so our dog can get fresh air and remain safe and all the kitchen gadgets, hence why we want to return. We love this part of Cornwall and have been coming every year for most of my life, we very rarely return to the same dwelling as there is always something not quite right, but Wee Cott ticks all the boxes. Thank you for your hospitality and sharing your lovely cottage ❤️

Just a quick note to thank you for your precise instructions for getting to, and finding your holiday Wee Cott. Arrived here safely and been for a walk on the beach already and now enjoying a very pleasant evening - chilling out waitng for the evening sunset. It may be “wee” but it packs a lot in and is so well equipped - we lack for nothing. So many thanks for letting us use your home.

Great little Chalet in such a stunning location.

The Wee Cott was absolutely perfect for our stay! It's such a cozy little chalet, and we were so impressed with how well-equipped it was. The hosts really thought of everything – all the cleaning products were supplied, the bedding was fresh, and the beds were already made up for us, which was such a lovely touch. We felt instantly at home because everything was ready and waiting. The hosts themselves were wonderful; really welcoming and their communication was excellent from start to finish. Even though it's a smaller chalet, we found it had plenty of space for us to relax comfortably. The chalet slept 5 people and we also had a travel cot with us that fit in with plenty of space. We'd wholeheartedly recommend The Wee Cott to anyone looking for a getaway. There’s loads to do in the area, and the nearby beaches are absolutely stunning. We had a fantastic time!

From the moment we booked with Penny and Tony I knew our holiday would be perfect. Accommodation was exactly as described, cleaned to a very high standard and we have honestly never stayed anywhere where the chalet is so well equipped. The chalet is located within a 5 minute walk to one of the best and longest beaches in Cornwall. Our 4 year old son absolutely loved staying here exploring the beach and sand dunes, there are also 4 newly built play areas on site that were a nice little touch. Already planning our next trip to Wee Cott. Thank you Penny & Tony for making some great memories in Cornwall.
